the following is a discussion between two great minds on life itself:
Lao-Tzu : Confuscious what does thou think of the essence of humans?
Confucius: Man Should be outwardly loving and caring and should show genuine appreciation and respect for eachother.
Lao Tzu : I agree completely all men are their greatest assets , life is the greatest wonder so we must respect eachother.However In that same vein life of others are not as important as ones own. Since life is the greatest asset we must seek to extend and enrich our own lives instead of others.
Confucius : agreed but there must be respect by any means necessary is not a principle I live by.Respect is necessary all things have order.we must respect those superior to us.
Lao -Tzu : Agreed , However we must live simple lives and over complication is not needed. The essence of life is in simplicity and a small village is the best way to live.
Confucius : True simplicity is the key to happiness. You are truly a wise man.

How would they dialogue about things about which they don't agree- e.g. government? family?
